A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

A proof of concept medieval RTS made using Planetary Processing for the PP Game Jam 2025.

This was made in six days by one person around a full time job... so doesn't have as many features as I'd like

Accounts

You can create an account inside the game. Accounts are available to use immediately, there's no human involvement anymore. If you have any issues, you can contact rubenwardy for help.

Features

  • Command units to attack other players.
    • Archers: weak ranged attack, health 70.
    • Swordsman: strong melee attack, health 100.
  • Recruit new units using food.
  • Defeat your enemies by capturing their keeps.
  • Taunt other players using global chat.
  • See the trails of flying arrows.
  • Massively-Multiplayer Online Game powered by Planetary Processing.
    • Game is designed to work on an infinite world, with areas loaded or unloaded
    • Pathfinding works long distance

Controls

  • Middle mouse / WASD / arrow keys to move the camera.
  • Left-click and drag to select units.
  • Right-click to move units. Move near an enemy to attack them.
    • Archers will automatically fire at nearby enemy units.
    • Swordsman will automatically run at and attack enemy units.
  • To capture a keep, first kill all enemy units in the vicinity and then keep your units near the keep.
  • Recruit units using the buttons on the bottom-right. Units cost food (all players start with a single farm, there's no way to make more unfortunately)
  • Press T to open chat.

Known issues

  • Sometimes units will disappear and reappear later on, this is a Planetary Processing bug.
  • Sometimes the mouse controls stop working when using unit selection - to fix this, click the "123 wood" text on the bottom right and then a tile on the map.
  • There's no respawn. You'll need a new account to make a new castle, or the world needs to be reset
